(Photograph) - Archie Henderson, who works at Glasgow University’s Hunterian Museum, is this year’s modern apprentice of the year. He emerged as winner at a ceremony at Edinburgh’s Sheraton Grand Hotel last week with the judges citing the commitment he has shown to his own learning. He has taken a number of courses in his own time and is currently working towards a level 3 Scottish Vocational Qualification in cultural heritage, all of which will give him the qualifications he needs to get into university once he completes his apprenticeship.
