IT is no coincidence that in the same issue (TES, June 14) you have a letter from a governor who feels entirely undervalued and an article from a chair of governors who has resigned for precisely the same reason.
Many of us who have long experience as governors feel that we continue to be either ignored or “dumped on”. This can happen at school, local authority or national level.
Is it because we come without a price-tag and we are dealing with people who know the price of everything and the value of nothing? I do hope not.
