SCIcentre, the national centre for initial teacher training in primary school science, has produced a range of resources with the aim of increasing “the output of good newly qualified primary school teachers”.

These include a video on Primary Science Classroom Organisation, a booklet on Using CD Roms in Primary Science and a leaflet and video on Data Logging in the Primary School. Leaflets are pound;3, videos pound;6. A free broadsheet, Science and Citizenship, with suggestions for key stage 1-2 activities, reference lists and contact organisations, is also available supported by Esso plc.
