Prince honours school for its help with rail crash survivors

A PRIMARY school in west London was this week honoured by Prince Charles for its role in the Ladbroke Grove train disaster in October 1999. He presented a police commendation to Barlby Road school which acted as a reception centre for survivors of the crash. Forty-five people who helped in the aftermath of the accident that killed 31 people were also commended for their bravery.
