PRINCE Charles gets practical as celebrities line up to back his project to make skills desirable. His campaign follows the discovery that re-flooring at Buckingham Palace was carried out mainly with foreign labour.

The Prince of Wales is aiming to plug the skills gap with the help of Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, designer Jasper Conran and TV chef Jamie Oliver.
