The Scottish Office has announced a review of placing requests following the dispute between Dundee City Council and the parents of two boys who were refused admission to Downfield primary last week.
Brian Wilson, the Education Minister, would not comment on the case pending a judicial review by the Court of Session. But he stressed the importance of ensuring that placing requests operate fairly and consistently.
