AT the end of the fourth full week of the pilot literacy strategy for secondary schools, you reported (TES October 6) a DFEE spokesman commenting: “Obviously pilots are meant to throw up problems. We will be listening to all the comments made.”
A fortnight latr you reported that every secondary school will be expected to introduce the new literacy strategy next September with training to start after Easter.
No problems there then.
