Also at the 2004 eLearning awards, the EDCL Foundation Award for best use of ICT by a municipal or regional education institution was presented to Gloucestershire LEA Ethnic Minorities Achievement Service.

iRespect aims to promote active citizenship, positive tolerance and cultural diversity in schools and throughout the wider community. The site offers accounts of real-life experiences documenting the history of migration from all over the world to the Gloucestershire area. Downloadable lesson plans for key stages 1-4 are available as well as links to other useful websites for teaching citizenship, covering languages, religion and diversity and offering help in raising the attainment of pupils from ethnic minorities and in teaching English as an additional language.
