STORIES WHICH GIVE SHAPE TO LIVES ...

The first-hand experiences of young lesbian, gay and bisexual people in north-east Wales have been collected in a free booklet produced by The West Rhyl Young People’s Project and the Health Promotion Service. BARNARDO’S CHILDCARE PUBLICATIONS

DIVORCE AND CHILDREN

Five leaflets from The Children’s Society aiming to help children and families cope with separation. They are entitled: When your parents split up and Living in a new stepfamily for children; Your children’s needs during separation and divorce and Your children’s needs in their new stepfamily for parents; and Helping children in a changing family for other adults. HEALTH: INVOLVING YOUNG PEOPLE

The Health Education Authority has produced guidelines to encourage professionals to consult young people when planning and evaluating services. PETS PROJECT PACK

This free key stage 2 cross-curricular pack from the National Canine Defence League aims to help teach children about responsibility for their pets and other people. In addition, trained presenters from the NCDL will visit schools with a puppet and slide show.
