Book signings, author readings and poetry recitals are a welcome new feature of the Publishing Village and a chance to meet the faces behind the books.

On Thursday, Julia Strong will speak on introducing the English Framework in your school and Wendy Body of the Longman Book Project will look at shared witing. Berlie Doherty will talk about writing Dear Nobody and how she approaches dramatising her novels. Citizenship is the theme of Friday’s programme with Don Rowe on using stories in Primary Citizenship; Christian Aid on RE for Global Citizenship and WWF on education for sustainable development.
