A competition for 500 Liverpool pupils for a new idea for a book by Alan Gibbons has been won by James Pybis of Our Lady’s and St Philomena’s Primary. James wrote 50 words about a photographer who makes people disappear. It has been published as The Dying Photo, by Barrington Stoke. The cover was created by Luke Gates, a pupil at De La Salle Humanities College, and turned into an image by illustrator Dylan Gibson.
