Primary pupils looking to hone their critical skills are invited to pass judgment on this year’s new children’s fiction. They are being invited to compete to become young judges for the 2006 Nestle children’s book prize.

Fifty classes will be selected to read the shortlisted books and vote for the winners. They can also win the chance to attend the awards ceremony at the British Library, in London. See www.nestle-childrensbookprize.co.uk
