Spotted in a packed Aberdeen hostelry the other Friday were John Stodter, the city’s director of education, and Scotland’s Mr Attendance, Cameron Munro from the Quality in Education Centre at Jordanhill. Besides quaffing the odd ale, the new Righteous Brothers (wee man and big man) were caught belting out a rendition of Robert Palmer’s Addicted to Love. Sadly, they left the karaoke stage to negative performance indicators or, as it’s commonly called, total silence.
