Believing the schoolboy who said that “radio had the best pictures”, Visible Fictions plans to bring them to the theatre in March and April with Prince Unleashed, a collaboration with BBC Scotland that will be broadcast as the Radio 4 Saturday play on March 25.

Aimed at 9-year-olds upwards, the story delves into the “impossible to articulate” hopes and fears of the young. Award-winning radio playwright Robert Forrest says it is “sound driven” and explains that every member of the theatre audience will need headphones to comprehend the characters and audio scenery that completes the stage production.
