It is one of a set of 16 resources that Jim Hawkins (right), of All Saints Humanities College in Huddersfield, a voluntary aided Catholic secondary, has added to the bank to support the Catholic Christianity units of the Edexcel GCSE syllabus.
“There aren’t enough Catholic schools to support many commercial resources for these units,” he said. “We have an RE department of five and we all make resources to share. It takes a lot of time but you’ve only got to do it once.”
Resource Bank, www.tes.co.ukresources, was launched to showcase ideas teachers were already exchanging in the staffroom forums. More than 72,000 visitors have found 1.2 million free resources during the past year.
