The Dyslexia Institute produces a wide range of paper and computer-based resources to help teachers and parents in teaching children who have dyslexia.

“Units of Sound is used extensively by schools and colleges with all sorts of students who struggle to read, spell and understand the written word,” says head of marketing Geoff Grant. It is now available in a multimedia version.

“The DIY Reader’s Support Pack for Parents offers a balanced approach to learning to read for young children. Although developed for parents, it’s also a valuable resource for teaching assistants.”

A wide range of assessment materials are available and used to assess more than 7,000 youngsters a year.
