Christian Aid has produced two assembly packs for work with pupils in key stages 2 and 3. Meet an Expert explains how Suriya, a farmer in Bangladesh, improved the productivity of her farm by working with an agricultural charity. Make Poverty History introduces the story of an 11-year-old girl in southern India, who was sold for pound;6 by her impoverished family until an organisation supported by Christian Aid helped her attend school. The packs contain good ideas for animating the moral and practical issues involved through dramatic presentation, discussion and reflection. The resources are available for free from Christian Aid.
