Photocopiable outlines for flexible activities suitable for pupils at any key stage, in school or at home, which can be used by teachers, learning support staff or parents with little or no preparation. Covers a range of approaches to learning, drawing on brain gym, yoga, sequencing exercises, affirmations and nutritional advice.

* ADDISS - The National Attention Deficit Disorder Information and Support Service (www.addiss.co.uk) offers “people-friendly” guidance for parents, teachers, sufferers and health professionals. The service has just released a report “Paying Enough Attention?” which calls for improved care for those with ADHD. You can download this report from the website or tel: 020 7331 2333 for a hard copy.

* NICE - National Institute for Clinical Excellence (www.nice.org.uk) has a section on ADHD giving useful and authoritative facts and figures.

* Nurture Group Network (www.nurturegroups.org). Nurture groups provide in-school support to children with hyperactivity and concentration difficulties along with other social and behavioural needs.

* Mental Health Foundation (www.mentalhealth.org.uk). Produces “All About ADHD”, a clear and concise booklet. Tel: 020 7802 0300.
