Concerned about protecting children from unsuitable Internet material? The British Computer Society and National Association for Advisers for Computers in Education (NAACE) have produced a 16-page leaflet to help schools write their own Internet access policy. Promoting the Responsible Use of the Internet in Schools summarises the issues and gives an overview of the action schools can take. It can be viewed at www.bcs.org.ukial.html and printed copies will be sent to all local education authorities. For details call Peter Banbury on 01622 683708 or email pbanbury@rmplc.co.uk
