If you are at the cutting-edge of online learning you could be in line for a pound;3,000 cash award in the RamesysTES Learning Environments Awards 2004, a new scheme designed to reward work on the network environments being established across schools and local authorities (see also page 60).
There are five categories of awards, each with two winners: extending the learning opportunity; transforming teaching and learning; collaboration; sharing best practice through ICT; inclusion and engagement. The closing date for entries is January 25 2004 and the presentation, by the BBC’s Michael Buerk, will be at the Savoy Hotel, London, on March 18.
