Right on read-on

To encourage the reading habit among children, the Listening Library, which produces talking books for the disabled and hospital patients, is inviting schools to take part in a Read-On to help raise Pounds 18,000 for children who are unable to read. Schools can stage their event any time between now and Christmas. Guidelines on how to run a read-on and make it more fun with dressing-up days, dramatisations and growing reading trees can be obtained from: Dawn Roberts, The Listening Library, 12 Lant Street, London SE1 1QH. Tel: 0181 977 5478.
