Your report (TES, November 26) on the collegial support of fellow heads for Peter Beattie is a further sign that all is not quality assured in the inspection service. Isn’t it time that a more rigorous system of feedback from inspected schools forms part of the report and summary, so that inadequacies can be openly seen and appreciated?
