CHILDREN who suffer head injuries when young can develop into acutely anti-social adolescents after years of normal behaviour, researchers from London’s Institute of Child Health have discovered.
The findings were presented at a conference of the Society of Neurscience in New Orleans. Delegates were also told of American research on 19 pairs of twins which indicated that a sweet tooth and an urge to drink could be two sides of the same genetic coin. Researchers found a link between cravings for sugar and alcohol.
