Poisonous creatures

Poisonous arrow frogs, millipedes, tarantula spiders, scorpions and snakes are a few of the scary creatures on display at the “Venom” exhibition at Roundhay Park, Leeds. This boasts interactive exhibits and comprehensive information about poisonous creatures. NSPCC booklet

The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children has published a new booklet, “Encouraging Better Behaviour: a practical guide to positive parenting”, free of charge for schools to have on hand for parents or for teachers to read themselves. It includes 10 ways to be a great parent without smacking.
