(Photograph) - The runway children: pupils in schools affected by the noise of Heathrow Airport have reading ability which is six months behind counterparts in similar schools elsewhere, according to a group of local authorities campaigning against the development of a fifth terminal at the London airport. The claim was immediately rejected by the British Airports Authority, which owns Heathrow.
