We congratulate our regular columnist, Michael Russell, on falling among Daily Telegraph readers. This is not at his own hand, you understand, but through the good offices of the paper’s resident Scottish curmudgeon, Alan Cochrane.
In last Thursday’s issue, Cochrane cited with approval Russell’s recent column in which he lambasted the press for the misuses to which the hacks are putting the Freedom of Information Act. As well as naming Russell, Cochrane named The TESS - named but not shamed, in either case.
A double whammy, then, for Telegraph readers.
