A Welsh education director who was unfairly dismissed is to receive pound;50,000 - the maximum compensation award - from Carmarthenshire County Council. A tribunal ordered the local authority to pay the award to Keith Price Davies after hearing that it refused to consider him for the top post in its reorganised education and community services department.
