Sars boosts online communications

One positive effect of the Sars (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) outbreak in south-east Asia has been to boost online communication in the education community as schools have closed, according to ex-pat teacher Chris Smith (left). The former head of JC Sarah Roe Centre in Hong Kong now runs The Educational Project Asia (TEPA), which he set up last year to support international schools in 17 countries in south-east Asia.
