P7 pupils in Renfrewshire have been working with Reid Kerr College on a renewable energy project: Earth Calling. The green lesson plan has helped children from six primaries to identify areas at home and in school where energy can be saved. Janet Collins, depute head of East Fulton Primary, says pupils have been discovering interesting facts about sustainable and non-sustainable energy: “As a result, we will be able to move forward as a school in becoming more eco-friendly, and aware of how important this planet and its resources are to everyone living here.”
