School admissions 'unfair to refugees'

Child refugees are being discriminated against because of "inconsistent" school admissions policies, according to a report by the Refugee Council. Pupils struggle to receive education if they seek asylum in the UK, the researchers have found. The report was produced as part of a project called SMILE, funded by the Department for Education.
