THE first 100 school bursars to benefit from a new national training programme started their courses at West Ham football club’s London ground today. The pound;800,000 pilot scheme - developed by the National College for School Leadership - is the first step towards the Goverment meeting its manifesto commitment of training 1,000 bursars by 2006.
