PARENTS in the Welsh town of Llandudno were this week protesting over plans to build a school on a site formerly used as a Victorian gasworks and incinerator. Conwy County Council has granted planning permission for John Bright school to build new premises on the land, but locals fear that proposed decontamination measures will be insufficient to ensure the safety of their children.
