School trip help

https://www.tes.com/magazine/archive/school-trip-help
A website has been launched to make the process of arranging school trips easier for teachers. Membership to Trips 4 Schools is free of charge and enables teachers to dictate the specific areas and curriculum subjects that they are interested in and therefore tailor trips to their requirements.

The site provides daily news updates about school travel, information and new trip ideas in subject-relevant features written by educational travel experts, case studies on educational attractions and venues, and interviews with school trip organisers from across the UK. The events diary provides a listing of upcoming events that are ideal for a school outing and the “Shout about it!” section enables teachers to send in and read feedback about venues and trips, ask questions, write and respond to letters and submit follow-up reports from trips. This spring a directory will be launched containing details of thousands of venues, contacts and companies that cater for educational group trips, making it easier than ever to arrange a trip for students.
