Students from London College of Fashion turned to pupils at several primary schools including Rushmore, Redlands and Marner, in search of innovative design solutions for school wear.

The original 3D briefing designs by the primary pupils, along with the final designs by fashion students, work by the Central Foundation School for Girls and Tower Hamlets College, will be displayed at an exhibition called Old Skool New School. It opened on June 13 at the VA Museum of Childhood, Cambridge Heath Road, London E2 9PA.

Admission is free. For more information call 0208 980 2415 or visit www.museumofchildhood.org.uk. The nearest tube station is Bethnal Green
