Climate challenge

National Climate Week (12-18 March) aims to get the whole country to share ideas, develop new collaborations, work with peers and inspire others to act on climate change.

What is it?

The week is shaped by events such as the Climate Week Challenge, when thousands of schools and workplaces will have five hours to simultaneously tackle a climate-themed task. Winning teams will get the chance to take part in Creative Innovation Workshops run by major companies such as Tesco. Teams should be of four to six people. To take part, register at www.climateweek.comchallenge

What else?

Everyone knows climate change is an issue, but do your students really understand it? Introduce the topic with Alan_Monaghan’s presentation. Or use Oxfam’s ideas to start making a change today.
