Science on Stage

Non-profit organisation Science on Stage brings together young people and adults to perform productions inspired by science. It’s latest show, Fusion: Man and Machine, can be seen at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall on 21 April.

Working with 12 schools, six dance schools and professional performers, the show gives pupils the opportunity to develop their understanding of scientific concepts alongside their self-esteem, confidence and teamworking skills.

Fusion: Man and Machine takes the audience into a near future where technology enhances, supplements and replaces biological systems within the human body. The show questions the relationship between wealth and health - will technological advancements create a larger class divide? Will some people cling to natural humanity out of choice? Will conflict arise?
