Capita, the company involved in the running of so many of our best-loved public services (London’s congestion charge, TV licensing) is well-known in FE circles for its smooth handling of Individual Learning Accounts.

So who better to hold a conference on cutting red tape? Thus the company is organising the “Practical approach to funding, planning amp; reducing bureaucracy”, conference on April 28.

The publicity blurb carries Capita Education Service’s logo and a picture of a fat pig overflowing with money. What on earth could this mean?
