Two subject associations are organising training workshops to help teachers make better use of computers in their lessons.
The Design and Technology Association and the National Association of Advisers and Inspectors in Design and Technology will hold 20 events in February and March in venues around England.
One of the following five topics will be covered each day: primary design and technology; electronics and control technology; product design; textiles; and food technology. The Embedding ICT in Design and Technology events cost Pounds 25 per delegate.
Afterwards, teachers will be given the chance to discuss their pupils’
achievements in a website forum.
