Birmingham’s school organisation committee has approved another Muslim school in the city. Al-Hijrah, a secondary, will join Al-Furqan, a primary voluntary-aided school. The newswas welcomed by the Association of Muslim Schools, which is organising a seminar for community groups trying to set up similar schools elsewhere (tel: 0116 273 8666).
