This key stage 3 pupils’ book and teacher’s guide will interest schools who adopt an approach based on work in separate focus areas. Lesson plans and worksheets cover a range of workshop activities inclding projects with wood, plastics, metals and electronic components.
Instructions to pupils are clear and the text is very well illustrated. All major tasks and homework activities are differentiated at three levels, but the worksheets are not, and some may prove beyond low attaining pupils.
