Teaching International Citizenship The Federal Trust pound;30Tel: 020 7799 2818 www. fedtrust.co.uk citizenship Aimed at key stage 4 and above, this pack contains background information, fact sheets, quizzes, ideas for classroom debates, worksheets and role-play exercises. It sets out to “help students to develop an understanding of the impact of international factors on their lives and to play a role as informed citizens in an increasingly multicultural society and global economy”.

Topics include: where do our rights come from?; citizens’ rights and the EU; and the international dimensions of citizenship. The pack is stronger on information than on strategies for practical teaching and learning. There are too many lengthy information sheets with underdeveloped questions.
