A video about Scotland’s timber takes viewers on a virtual tour of a working sawmill. The film, produced by Forestry Commission Scotland and the Forest Education Initiative, aims to help teachers educate children about the lifecycle of Scotland’s timber.
Called Visit to Riding Sawmill, the video follows the path of a piece of wood from log to tabletop, explaining how Scotland’s trees are planted, grown, harvested, milled and put to everyday use.
