Employers’ organisation the CBI warns of dire economic times. We need organisations like Speakers4Schools to inspire all secondary students (independent and state), and yet have you noticed how remote British business remains?

Companies don’t provide contacts for key personnel and generally hide safely behind hyped-up HR websites. It’s time Business UK woke up to the youth-unemployment problem and went into schools to inspire young people. Otherwise, who’s going to rattle their cage? Another Bob Geldof? Do they need to be sworn at on a live TV marathon before they wake up?
