I do not believe that he is being either mischievous or misleading. The essence of satire is that it must have a sound basis of truth and that its target must be both pompous and absurd.
Professor Wragg's writing is hilarious, but it always makes a deadly serious point. It is a pity that more people of his stature in education do not have the integrity to expose what is happening behind the jargon.
