Seven steps to a perfect kite

Two art straws, (or thin strips of card, plywood, wood veneer, or similar material).

Sheets of coloured tissue paper for the kite and its tail.

A kite-shaped template made of thick card.

Scissors.

Glue.

Cotton thread (cut into a good length,to help flight).

Small strips of card (hole punch needed) for attaching the cotton.
