Pupils in Wales will be consulted over the content of sex education lessons at different stages of schooling, under plans put out for discussion by the Welsh Assembly Government. Estyn, the Welsh education inspectorate, has said that pupils’ lack of involvement in planning their sex education is a key reason why it is so poor in many areas.
