A science teacher who sexually assaulted three girls has been jailed for five years and banned from working with children.

Brett Meeds, 28, who worked at a high school and a sixth form centre, assaulted the girls in Norfolk between 2005 and 2009.

Norwich Crown Court heard that the teenage victims, two aged 16 and one aged 15, were the subject of sexual abuse on several occasions from late 2008 to early 2009. In September, Meeds, from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, pleaded guilty to nine charges, including sexual assault and possessing indecent images of two young women under 18.
