To mark Gresham’s fourth centenary and Arden’s launch of the third edition of Shakespeare’s plays, Gresham lecturers will be giving lunchtime talks on Romeo and Juliet, November 11; Hamlet, November 18; the History Plays, November 25 and Twelfth Night, December 2. There is also a “Shakespeare and the theatre” workshop with textual editors, actors, movement experts, directors and designers at Senate House, Malet Street, London WC1, November 25, fee Pounds 15, Pounds 7.50 students. Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal National Theatre, Royal Court and other Society of London Theatre members will be on hand at Stagefair ‘96 to profile outreach work, workshops and other projects available to schools. Stagefair, takes place on October 8 at the New Connaught Rooms, Great Queen Street, London WC2, and will include a seminar on “Developing young audiences”.
