Early plans are being laid to send a Scottish primary-school aged team to the annual senior shinty-hurling international with Ireland.

The Scottish-Irish link has been extremely successful at full international level and it is hoped that an under-12 representative team can be set up to play a fixture against Irish counterparts.

Part of the early fundraising will be done through the sale of the CD Linn gu Linn by Graham Bell, a musician who has devoted a lot of time to schools shinty.
