The British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA) has organised Education South West in association with a number of partners. These include the Devon Curriculum Advisory Service, education departments in Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Swindon, Dorset, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. Over 150 exhibitors, some highlighted in this supplement, will be providing an opportunity for those involved in education to see, test and compare a wide range of curriculum, administration and other resources. * The Rosetta Stone Language Library, a series of interactive CD-Roms for foreign language learning, is out of this world - literally! Six copies of the Russian program were recently ordered by NASA for delivery to the MIR Space Station via the Space Shuttle. Astronaut Jerry Leininger is using the CD-Rom to assist him in communicating with the Russian Cosmonauts while on board the MIR. Japanese and Portuguese programs have recently been added to the series which brings the total to 10 languages and another eight are currently being developed.
